Large-Scale New Gaming Agreement Announced By Microsoft And NVIDIA
Blockbuster Xbox game lineup, including Call of Duty and Minecraft from Activision, will be made available through the partnership on the NVIDIA GeForce NOW cloud gaming service. Microsoft and NVIDIA announced a 10-year partnership to make Xbox PC titles available on the NVIDIA® GeForce NOWTM cloud gaming service, which has more than 25 million subscribers across more than 100 countries.
GeForce NOW will be able to broadcast Xbox PC games to PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, cellphones, and other devices thanks to the arrangement. After Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision is complete, it will also make it possible for PC games from Activision Blizzard, like Call of Duty, to be broadcast on GeForce NOW.
Xbox is still dedicated to giving users more options and exploring new game-playing possibilities. Under this collaboration, NVIDIA’s library of games will expand to include games like Call of Duty and give game developers more options for streaming games. We are thrilled to give gamers more options for enjoying their favorite games.
According to senior vice president for GeForce NVIDIA, Jeff Fisher
-With the tremendously extensive library of Xbox first-party games and GeForce NOW’s high-performance streaming capabilities, cloud gaming will become a popular option that appeals to players of all interests and skill levels. Thanks to this collaboration, millions more gamers will be able to play more of the most well-known games in the world by just clicking on the cloud.
The collaboration gives gamers more options and allays NVIDIA’s worries about Microsoft acquiring Activision Blizzard. Thus, NVIDIA is extending its full support for the acquisition’s regulatory approval.
In order for GeForce NOW subscribers to stream PC games they purchase from the Windows Store. It includes titles from third-party partners where the publisher has granted NVIDIA streaming rights, Microsoft and NVIDIA will start working on this integration right away. Xbox PC games that are currently sold in independent marketplaces like Steam or the Epic Games Store will also be streamable via GeForce NOW.
For more information about the programme, go to the GeForce NOW website. For the latest up-to-date news, including the release dates of upcoming Microsoft game titles that will be accessible through the GeForce NOW programme, check back every GFN Thursday.
This agreement was announced at a Microsoft press conference in Brussels, Belgium. Microsoft also finalized a 10-year agreement. It is aimed to bring the latest version of Call of Duty to the Nintendo platform following the union with Activision.
